To date, at the time of spring avitaminosis, all fashion magazines are full of advice that to strengthen immunity you need to consume as much freshly squeezed vegetable and fruit juices. Not to mention that every other Hollywood actress has ever advertised a juice diet. Fans of fruit and vegetable drinks assure that they can prevent cancer and save from the seasonal shortage of vitamins.
Experts believe that fresh juices can have a negative impact on the body. It can not be said that doctors deny the use of fresh products, but they are sure that whole vegetables and fruits are ten times more useful than those processed by a juicer. If you understand, then it is rather difficult to come to an unequivocal opinion. Of course, freshly squeezed juice contains much more vitamins, antioxidants and other nutrients than those that are already poured into cardboard packages by manufacturers. Juice, cooked alone, with the help of a blender or juicer, is a highly concentrated, healthy drink, which, however, should not be misused.
If we talk about the beneficial properties of fresh juices, then it should be noted vegetable mixes. On the one hand, vegetables such as beets, carrots, celery are necessary for the body, and on the other - few people will agree to breakfast daily with a salad of raw vegetables. In this case, fresh juice is an excellent solution for those who monitor their health and try to eat right. Recent studies have shown that the juice of petioled celery helps lower cholesterol levels. Substances that are contained in fresh celery juice, can also positively affect the health of blood vessels and stabilize blood pressure. The recommended serving of celery is about half a glass of juice or six to seven fresh stems. Vegetable juices can prevent Alzheimer's disease: true, for such an effect, an adult needs at least three servings of vegetable juice per day (serving = two hundredgram glass).
Modern nutritionists and endocrinologists advise not to abuse fresh vegetable and, especially, fruit juices. Special attention should be paid to juices from foods with a high content of glycemic index. For example, juice from watermelon, pineapple, mango not only contributes to the appearance of excessive weight, but can lead to diabetes. Sweet fruit juices cause an increase in the level of glucose in the blood.
If you are a fan of fresh juices, it is better to give preference to a mixture of vegetable, not fruit juices. However, you should be careful with the juice of fresh beets. Beet juice can help increase hemoglobin levels, but it overloads the liver. If you are trying to lose weight, then fresh juices are not the best option for daily use. Almost all fruits contain a large amount of sugar, which will negatively affect body volumes, but will not quench the feeling of hunger. With regard to the allegations that fresh juices can fight cancer, experts can not confirm the fact that juice affects the health of the body better than fruits of fruits or vegetables.
