If you are suffering from insomnia or are worried about pain that does not allow you to sleep peacefully and serenely, or if sleep does not come because of the stress, you can safely take a yoga mat and perform several exercises. Studies conducted by scientists show that this Indian spiritual and physical practice has a beneficial effect on a person's well-being and relieves him from insomnia. These exercises do not require special training and stretching gymnasts. They are very simple, but effective enough.
Insomnia
Instead of counting the number of elephants in the hope that there will be a dream for the third hundred, it's better not to waste time, but to perform a simple exercise that promotes blood flow to the head and helps you to quickly embrace Morpheus.
To do this, you need a stand, for example, you can take a box from under the shoes or a pile of books. Put your feet on the width of the shoulders, the feet are slightly turned inwards, the breathing is deep. On the exhalation, lean forward, hands rest on the floor and maximally stretch the spine, laying your head on the prepared support to completely rest on it. If you feel pain in your legs while stretching, then put your feet slightly wider. Close your eyes and breathe slowly, exhaling through your nose. In this position, you should stand for five minutes. But if you have high blood pressure or glaucoma, then this exercise is not recommended.
Headache
Many people, returning home after work, feel like the head is clamped with iron hoops of pain. First of all, most of us tend to the medicine cabinet in search of an anesthetic. But you can do without them, and get rid of the pain with a simple exercise. This exercise - a great alternative to all kinds of pills from a headache. Very often the cause of the headache is tension in the muscles of the neck, and this technique will help to gently stretch the muscles and relax the entire body, the headache will take a few minutes.
Lie on your back and put your feet parallel to the wall - your legs should be brought together, and the buttocks lightly touching the wall. Put your hands along the body or on the stomach. Close your eyes, relax, breathe deeply and, thinking about something good, lie in this position for 5-10 minutes.
Back pain
Many people suffer from constant lack of sleep and insomnia due to constant back pain.
Lie on your back and bend your knees, then turn both feet to the right. With this trunk does not move, the head looks to the left, and the right hand presses his feet to the floor. In this position, take 10-15 deep breaths. Then go back to the starting position and again repeat the procedure, but on the other side.

Stress
This position is called "Embryo Pose". One or two minutes in this position will allow the body to relax and bring thoughts into order after a hard day's work.
Sit on the bent legs, feet together. Lean forward and stretch out your arms. Try to relax and drive away all negative thoughts away. Pay attention to the breath - hold your breath and exhale from three to seven counts.
