Web2Health invites you to go on an exciting culinary journey and find out what people have for breakfast in different parts of the world.

France

Le petit déjeuner – a small breakfast, this is what the French call their modest morning meal. A cup of coffee, a croissant or a sandwich can satisfy the morning appetite, but after midday various dishes of fish, meat and, of course, coffee are used. There is no way without it.

India

India

An Indian breakfast includes several dishes: rice, unleavened pastries and flatbreads. Spices are a must in this menu, because Indians believe that spices can warm and cool the body.

Egypt

Egypt

The favorite breakfast of Egyptians is ful and filyafilei. Filyafilei is a vegetarian cutlet made from beans, and ful is boiled beans served in a sour sauce with herbs and spices. Tehin, a nut-sesame sauce in which bread is traditionally dipped, goes well with this bean menu. And the favorite drink of Egyptians in the morning is hibiscus tea.

Morocco

Moroccan breakfasts would please any sweet tooth, as they include honey, almonds, pastries, yogurts and cheeses. To get a boost of energy, Moroccans drink coffee or green tea in the morning. Breakfast outside the home is a common thing for Moroccans, because in the huge bazaar - the Medina, you can not only eat well, but also take care of business or just watch people.

Italy

Italians love to eat, and they do it well and beautifully, but their breakfast may be limited to a cup of coffee with milk and a simple bun. Most likely, such a more than modest breakfast will fully compensate for a hearty dinner.

Japan

People living in the Land of the Rising Sun do not eat sandwiches and coffee, they are used to having miso soup with seafood, vegetables or mushrooms for breakfast - this is the first course. For the second course, they like rice with seafood or seaweed and a raw egg. According to the Japanese, such a diet strengthens the body and allows you to prolong life.

China

China

The Chinese thoroughly prepare for the upcoming day, so they do not leave home with an empty stomach. For breakfast, they prefer noodles or rice with vegetables, chicken or meat, and all this is necessarily with a large number of fragrant seasonings. The Chinese also love rice flour pies, very similar to manti.

United Kingdom

United Kingdom

The notorious porridge that appears in many jokes is indeed the British's favorite breakfast. It is served with a hard-boiled egg, juice or coffee. The English breakfast is often confused with the English brunch - a late breakfast that flows into lunch, consisting of toast with butter, sausages and fried eggs. If the British ate like this every day, they would hardly know where their waist is.

Sweden

Sweden

The harsh climate and the sea have left their mark on the tastes and preferences of the Swedes. Their favorite breakfast dishes are, of course, fish: perch, herring, herring and cod with a side dish of potatoes, vegetables or cereals. They also have fish sandwiches, only with smoked fish.

USA

Americans who care about their health and are not so busy at work prefer to have muesli, toast with nut butter or cereal with milk for breakfast. And those who are in a hurry and do not have time or are simply too lazy to make breakfast, run to the nearest fast food, where they greet a new day in the company of donuts, hamburgers and buns.
