Health of Ukrainians makes you want something better! This is evidenced by the indicators of life expectancy - 67 years, the expected life expectancy - 55 years and the index DALY (lost years of healthy life).

According to the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, the incidence of school-age children in the last ten years has increased by almost 27%. So, if in 1 class there are more than 30% of children with chronic diseases, by the 5 th class their number grows to 50%, reaching 9 64%. And in general, only 7% of Ukrainian students have a satisfactory functional state of the body.

Already in the 1st class, 11% of schoolchildren have abnormalities in the condition of the musculoskeletal system, 25% of the nasopharynx, 30% of the nervous system, 30% of the digestive system, and 25% of the children have allergic manifestations.

From 1 to 9 class, the frequency of visual acuity decrease grows by 1.5 times (the so-called excellent worker's disease), the frequency of violations of posture is also 1.5, the prevalence of diseases of the digestive system is 1.4, the incidence of endocrine system diseases is 2, 6 times.

The Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, NAMNU notes that only 6-10% of adolescents 12-18 years of age are healthy.
