O2Amps glasses were recently presented, thanks to which you could see a person through and through. Evena Medical introduced a more advanced development, which will be very useful in the medical field - Eyes-On Glasses glasses. Almost any medical professional, in particular nurses, will be able to use the Eyes-On Glasses portable transdermal imaging system from EVENA. It is expected that the practical application of such a system in the very near future will begin in hospitals around the world. Thanks to points of this kind, intravenous administration of drugs is much simpler, as they allow you to see the real-time blood system of a person and inject the injection exactly into a vein.

Evena Medical created glasses based on 3D-visualization technology of its own production. As a prototype of the system was the earlier development of Evena Medical, with the help of which the image of the arrangement of vessels under the skin was displayed on the monitor. Now the developers have done so that the image is projected directly on the display of the glasses, which made the hands completely free. In addition, the developers have provided the Eyes-On Glasses system with the ability to store video and images, as well as transmit information via 3G, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. This will allow you to exchange information with doctors who are located at the other end of the hospital, and also to connect to the medical records system. Japanese developers have introduced a high resolution screen into the new system, which came from the Moverlo BT-100 glasses (interactive glasses that can replace the monitor or TV screen). The computer and batteries that attach to the belt make the weight of the glasses very light and almost imperceptible when worn. But, despite their lightness, they project a picture of a unique high quality.

Studies show that approximately 40% of intravenous injections occur with repeated attempts to enter the vein, as in some patients the veins are located deeper and virtually invisible visually. Because of this, not only precious time was lost, but also caused unpleasant and painful sensations in the patient. Also, there are often cases when an urgent introduction of the drug is required, and the first time you can not get into the vein necessary vein, as a result, the time spent searching for the vein can cause severe consequences for the patient. This development will not only facilitate the work of medical personnel, but also patients who will not be subjected to painful piercing of the skin several times. When using Eyes-On glasses, the nurse will see a 3D image of the human circulatory system. After this, it is not difficult to find the necessary vein and make an injection. Deliveries of new glasses are planned to begin already in the first quarter of 2014. The price of such "smart" points will be within 10 thousand dollars, sales will be conducted in most major world markets, with the exception of the EU alone.
