Scientists from the University of Texas have discovered what humanity has long suspected. As a sexual partner, men pick a fool, but they do not want to marry them.

When a man wants to quickly find a friend, the questions of her kindness or intelligence are not even considered. He needs a girl who looks as stupid or sleepy as possible. Such easiest to spin on short love stories, as American scientists have found out.

In an article that is being prepared for publication in the journal Evolution and Human Behavior, scientists from Texas tell how they studied the so-called hypothesis of social vulnerability, which is based on the different attitudes of men and women to the issue of reproduction.

According to researchers, in the distant past, women tried to risk and establish a sexual relationship with men who showed no interest in them, and did not want to have children with them. Men, however, the issue of female pregnancy after accidental sex did not bother, because their body produces 85 million cells of sperm daily from each testicle.

The researchers suggested that the brain of a modern woman is still as sensitive to the possible consequences of casual sex in the form of pregnancy, as it was before. Therefore, to search for a casual partner, they will still need to rely on an emotional connection. This is confirmed by research.

And how much have men changed with the ages? A group of male students showed many pictures of women to identify those who seem to be suitable for the role of permanent partners or for entertainment for one night.

It turned out that men often chose to act as casual partners of girls with a silly or childlike face that seemed sleepy or drunk. They were considered the most attractive in comparison with the more intelligent and beautiful coevals. But only for short romance novels.

As for the choice of a candidate for the role of wife, men chose externally smart, beautiful, independent and kind women.
