From early childhood to old age, we have to make choices. These choices can be spontaneous, unconscious, or thoughtful and balanced, in any case, our life directly depends on what we choose in food. Will this choice be made for the benefit of health or to its detriment.

When a person's body is in physical, mental and spiritual balance, then it is easy for him to choose. A daily chain of constant, correct decisions leads to a healthy lifestyle.

Food is the source of energy from which the body daily draws strength to build new cells, satisfy hunger, and ensure the smooth functioning of all human organs and systems. Accordingly, food is the foundation that we lay for a healthy, long life. And it depends only on us how strong it will be. There is no doubt that man is the most complex of all created organisms on earth. There is a whole factory inside us. The only question is whether we supply high-quality raw materials for our construction?

Imagine that you didn't manage to have breakfast, of course, the morning rush to work, who doesn't have it. At lunch you had a snack somehow and with something, without looking up from the computer monitor, and for dinner you satisfied your hunger for the whole day, and not with the healthiest food. And what kind of building material did you send to your body? None!

The human body cannot stop and wait for high-quality raw materials to arrive; all processes must occur continuously, which means it will have to work with what it has. It is not for nothing that they say: "You are what you eat." Our physical and mental well-being is directly related to the quality of the food we consume.

To achieve this, food must be easily digestible, nutritious, familiar but varied, have good taste, correspond to the body's energy expenditure, and create a feeling of satiety in small quantities.

When something is missing in the body, we feel tired and unwell. This is the first sign of imbalance or, in other words, illness.

What do we know about the concept of "acid-base balance"? Probably, many immediately think of the notorious chewing gum advertisement. But in fact, the acid-base balance in the body was thought about in ancient times.

Wise people tried to balance their diet. For example, yogis divided food into alkaline and acidic.

What foods are alkaline? These are fresh cottage cheese, milk. Broccoli, carrots, avocado, corn, banana, spinach, lettuce, eggplant, pumpkin, beetroot, potato, zucchini. Raspberries, watermelon, mango. Black grain bread.

Sour foods include baked goods, nuts, vegetable oil. Sour berries, tomatoes, garlic, onions, sorrel, legumes. Chocolate products, cheese, mushrooms, natural juices.

It is acidic food that clogs the body, it is difficult to digest, when it gets into the stomach, it breaks down into chemical elements and acidifies the body. And this threatens to disrupt the body's metabolism, disrupt cell regeneration, which leads to premature aging.

Alkaline Acid Diet

External sources also have a significant impact on the acidity level: heavy physical exercise, smoking, drugs, medications, toxins from shampoos, skin care products, etc., and stress, which is the main cause of acidity and, therefore, diseases in our body. 70% alkali and 30% acid – this balance is ideal.

Every person creates their own life, do not forget about it! Make a choice in favor of yourself, your body, do not pollute it with unnecessary, heavy food.
