This conclusion was reached by employees of the Liuzhou Medical College during laboratory studies of subjects with periodontitis. It turned out that patients often had problems with erection.

Experts state that many people suffer from periodontitis. This is one of the variants of complicated caries. It provokes the decay of the nerve and damage to the ligament that holds the tooth in the jaw. As a result, the tooth becomes loose and hurts at the slightest touch.

In addition to the information about the laboratory experiment, there is also data according to which men suffering from periodontitis often experience difficulties in their sexual life.

Meanwhile, such statements are met with mixed reactions in the professional community. For example, Dr. Andrew Kramer from the University of Maryland Medical Center finds no reason to believe that there is a connection between the two phenomena.

But Professor David Maldrum of the University of California, Los Angeles, reminds us that periodontitis causes severe inflammation. And this, as we know, has an impact on erection.
