This conclusion was reached by the employees of Liuzhou Medical College in the course of laboratory tests of subjects who had periodontitis. It turned out that patients often had problems with erection.
Experts state: many people suffer from periodontitis. This is one of the variants of complicated caries. It provokes the disintegration of the nerve and the lesion of the ligament that holds the tooth in the jaw. As a result, the tooth becomes mobile, it hurts at the slightest touch.
In addition to information on laboratory experiments, there are also data according to which men with periodontitis often experience difficulties in sexual life.
Meanwhile, such statements cause an ambiguous evaluation in a professional environment. For example, Dr. Andrew Kramer of the University of Maryland Medical Center has no reason to believe that there is a connection between these two phenomena.
But Professor David Maldram of the University of California at Los Angeles recalls: periodontitis provokes severe inflammation. And it already, as is known, has an effect on an erection.
