Scientists from the UK have determined that too frequent consumption of fried and fatty foods can trigger the onset of cancer. To products that experts recommend to exclude from the diet, fast food is primarily concerned. Separate item is allocated chips, which are both too fatty product, and sharp, and fried in deep fat. Doctors warn: chips are especially harmful for middle-aged men because of the ability, with regular use, to cause prostate cancer.
During numerous studies of cancer, scientists found that to prevent prostate cancer, which is a common disease in middle-aged and older men, it is better for males to refrain from eating fast food. Research results show that men who regularly eat fried potatoes, chips and other deep-fried snacks, suffer more from prostate cancer than those who ignore such products.
Scientists say that the main reason for the negative effect of chips and chips on the body is that these products are in boiling vegetable oil for a long time. Heated to boiling temperature, sunflower oil promotes the formation and development of cancer cells.
Specialists conducted a survey, during which more than 1500 middle-aged and elderly men were interviewed. The results of the experiment showed that those men who eat fried, spicy foods a day are more likely to have oncological diseases. Male representatives, who at least once a week ate chips, are three times more likely to suffer from prostate cancer than those who use such products every two or three months.
From the results of the survey, the following conclusions were drawn: fried in vegetable oil food, which, among other things, is often too acute, without a threat to health can be consumed no more than once every few weeks. In a particular risk group are men over 50 who are most often exposed to prostate cancer. A direct link between fried food and the formation of cancer cells is observed because the cooked food for a long time undergoes heat treatment in boiling vegetable oil.
Some time ago, scientists from the United States found that during prolonged roasting in vegetables, a large number of carcinogens are formed, which can adversely affect human health. A carcinogen is a physical radiation or more often a chemical substance that can cause the appearance of cancer cells and, as a consequence, malignant tumors that are difficult to treat. Among the carcinogens that are formed during the heating of vegetable oil and fats, scientists give off peroxides. Also, scientists warn against daily consumption of food cooked on the grill. Despite the fact that products cooked on the grill are considered to be a dietary and useful product, it is worth remembering that during the preparation there is a risk of the formation of such carcinogens as benzopyrenes, which are also capable of causing the appearance of malignant formations.
