In Israel, a research group has developed a special device that will help in the treatment of depressive disorders. A special helmet affects the brain using electromagnetic radiation and stabilizes the psycho-emotional state. In other words, the helmet affects the brain using electromagnetic impulses, in particular those areas that are responsible for receiving pleasure. The device literally turns off negative emotions. As the scientists themselves note, the new device not only helps to calm down and improve the psycho-emotional state, but the antidepressant helmet also helps with more serious diseases, such as Alzheimer's or Parkinson's. The new device is currently at the stage of clinical trials, but 70 copies have been released, which have already been purchased mainly by residents of the United States.

Depression is currently the most common form of mental disorders in the world. A large number of suicides are committed as a result of severe depressive disorders. As the World Health Organization notes, more than 350 million people on earth suffer from depressive disorders of varying severity.

During depression, people lose interest in the environment, they stop enjoying things and actions that previously attracted them. In this state, a person is always pessimistic, often loses interest in sex and work. During depression, sleep disturbances often occur, appetite disappears. In this state, a person experiences a heaviness in the soul, which is effectively relieved by a device developed by Israeli specialists. The creation of this device is a breakthrough in the field of psychotherapy and psychiatry.

Last year, scientists from Switzerland proposed a new way to combat depression. The problem can be solved by interrupting sleep. As experts note, if a person is woken up in the second half of the night, then it is possible to get rid of depressive disorder. As scientists noted, such "treatment" helps to change the areas in the brain that are responsible for the emotional state.

Japanese experts have found that self-confidence helps to overcome depressive mental disorders and other stressful situations in life more easily and quickly. During their study, the experts scanned the brains of the participants and found that the higher the level of self-confidence of a person, the easier it is for him to cope with stress. To confirm their assumption, the Japanese conducted several additional studies. At the first stage, a scan of the brain of young people (mainly students) was conducted immediately after the earthquake. In 2011, the natural disaster caused a strong shock to the residents of Japan. At the second stage, scientists conducted a scan after a certain period of time. The goal of this experiment was to track changes in the brain in the calm phase. As a result, it was found that stress was easier and faster experienced by people with high self-esteem and confidence.
