The hot summer days are already behind us, and so it’s time to change your body care and prepare it for the cold autumn and winter frosts.

Skin Cleansers

Many makeup removers remove not only cosmetics from the face, but also sebum - a natural defense, so in the autumn-winter period, when the skin is exposed to aggressive external factors, it is better to use cleansers with an oily base.

Moisturizing facial skin

A daily moisturizer for autumn should be nourishing to counteract seasonal dehydration of the skin. For example, it can be a cream that contains hyaluronic acid - an excellent component that can draw water from the environment and nourish the skin with it. You can also pay attention to a moisturizing serum, which is applied under the moisturizer and nourishes the skin all day long.

Body hydration

And again, moisturizing! Not only the skin of the face, but also the whole body suffers from inclement weather and merciless heaters that “steal” moisture from our skin. Try applying a nourishing body cream or milk immediately after a shower, after slightly blotting your skin with a towel. This will help retain additional moisture.

Regulate the water temperature

Although it is very pleasant to warm up under a hot stream of water during cold weather, your skin is unlikely to like it. Therefore, for the sake of beauty and health of your skin, take a shower under warm water.

Avoid alcohol-containing products

When sprays or other alcohol-containing products hit the skin's surface, we feel cool and fresh, and at the same time, our skin loses the valuable moisture that we try so hard to retain and replenish.

Do not use a hair dryer

Easier said than done. Sometimes in a hurry you forget about all the rules and advice and grab the hair dryer like a drowning man grabs a lifeline. But if time allows, it is better to refuse the hair dryer, because your hair is already experiencing shock from the change in weather and central heating, where can you injure it even more?

Moisturizing from the inside

Remember that external hydration is not enough. Your hands, feet, elbows and knees require more, so drink at least 1.5 liters of water daily. And if your body lotion does not save certain areas from dryness, try using moisturizers with shea butter, tea tree oil, linoleic acid or glycerin.

Lips

Chapped, bleeding lips look very unsightly. Use a lip balm with an SPF of at least 15, preferably with antiseptic agents, to restore damage. Also, painful cracks can be cured with lip balms with tea tree oil, phenol, beeswax, aloe, vitamin E and essential oils.
