Research scientists have shown that intellectual abilities depend on the quality of nutrition. It is especially important to observe the correct diet for students. The session in the school places high demands on the efficiency of students and their mental activity. How is it necessary to eat during the exams to show a good result?
Avoid inefficient and irregular meals, snacks on the go and fast food, for example, in the form of pizza and a bottle of Coca-Cola. Such a diet, of course, allows you to save time, but does not help keeping the body in an efficient state.
Try to exclude from the menu meat products, as well as sugar, for the time of participation in the control training activities. Food should be high in calories, but light. The consumption of sugar and products, in which he enters, leads to a brief increase in intellectual abilities, because sugar instantly rushes into the blood. But this effect quickly passes, because soon into the blood is thrown insulin, "devouring" the sugar, and after a few minutes its blood level is reduced.
In the morning, choose a moderate meal, which includes bread, rice, beans, muesli and nuts. These products contain polysaccharides released more slowly than sugar. After 15-20 minutes you will feel fresh and cheerful. If you have mental work, it is much more useful to refresh yourself with a small bun, than with candy.
Take care that in your student diet included proteins of plant origin. They are in the right amount contained in peas and beans. They can be added to different dishes in reasonable quantities.
Include vitamins and minerals in the products. These components of nutrition contribute to a better flow of processes in the brain. The need for vitamins is higher the more difficult mental work you have. The two main elements that a student needs are B vitamins and iron. These elements are found in cereals, apples and spinach.
Perform the main condition - set the correct power mode for the session. Try not to overeat, especially at the end of the day and before mental stress. Active digestion of food leads to the inflow of blood to the digestive system and, consequently, the outflow of it from the brain. After a plentiful meal, intellectual activity usually slows down.
