Nowadays, there is an abundance of food, our tables are overflowing. The choice is great. You can find a variety of dishes not only at home or visiting, but also in cafes, restaurants, snack bars. The Internet is no exception, many sites offer a bunch of different recipes, their brightness and color lure even through the screen. The temptation is great, adults and children eat food products that are unnecessary for the body. Children are increasingly at risk.

Scientists from the US University conducted research on food products, during which they found out which products are harmful to the child's body. In America, about 50% of children suffer from obesity, which became the reason for research and experiments.

Fried food is one of the main reasons for weight gain. Potatoes, everyone's favorite, even fried, have a high calorie content, while the body's saturation is not great, which ultimately leads to the acquisition of extra pounds and deterioration of health. All fatty, fried food is strictly contraindicated for people with digestive problems, liver diseases. You need to eat as little fried chicken, fish and, of course, chips, which have a high calorie content, as possible.

Doctors advise to exclude carbonated drinks from children's diet, reduce consumption of fatty and sweet foods. Adults often pay great attention to the calorie content of foods and try to feed their child as low-calorie foods as possible, thinking that the child will gain excess weight. But this is not always the case, weight gain from a product such as potatoes depends on the method of its preparation. Boiled potatoes are also a nutritious dish, but they have a lesser effect on body weight. But fried French fries are also potatoes, but oil is used to prepare them, all in combination they turn out to be a very harmful product for the younger generation and not only.

The study was conducted on 5,000 children aged 8 to 16. For 3 years, the children ate the foods they were used to, what they ate before the experiment. Scientists watched, took tests, and drew conclusions. They periodically weighed the children and compared the indicators.

The opinion of doctors coincided on many indicators. A healthy child's diet should contain mostly vegetables, fruits, legumes, dairy products should definitely be in the diet. In small quantities, meat, fish. In order not to provoke obesity, fatty foods should be excluded or reduced to a minimum. This is the unanimous opinion of all scientists in America and elsewhere. If this is not done, you can get problems with the cardiovascular system, high blood pressure, high cholesterol in the blood, digestive system disease, the pancreas will suffer and of course the liver, for which fatty and salty foods are enemy number one.

It is necessary to remember the importance of home education and the example of parents. After all, children from a very early age eat what we, adults, give them. In the future, children also look first of all to their parents. Strict control over the child's diet is needed when he is not only at home, but also at school or other educational institutions. Scientists recommend that adults change their diet, eat right, know the benefits and harms of foods. The direct responsibility of parents is to raise a healthy, smart child. Every adult should start with themselves, with their lifestyle, first of all, give up all bad habits, start eating right, thereby setting an example for their child. You can join some kind of sport together, swimming, running, cycling, which will interest both the child and will be useful for the adult. Cheerful games, excluding fatty and fried foods will help fight your child's excess weight.
