Bored office workers are more likely to gain 13 pounds a year because they are more likely to indulge in unhealthy snacks. Experts believe that boredom at work is fueling the obesity epidemic. Also, according to a recent survey, birthdays with cakes and other celebrations that employees throw are a big contributor to weight gain. 42% of office workers have already suffered because of their love of cakes and cookies: they have gained several pounds in a year.

Boredom was named as the main factor in such dubious entertainment and pleasure. Oddly enough, it is mostly men who suffer from this. 50% of respondents admitted that they are constantly drawn to food. And 30% felt empty if they did not resort to their favorite entertainment, chewing something. And only 17% of women reported that they cannot resist the temptation of tasty food. However, despite such willpower on the part of women, women are mostly prone to gain weight within a year.

Half of the women surveyed said they had gained weight in the past year, compared to 40% of their male counterparts. The survey was conducted by men's fashion brand High and Mighty. And experts said that gaining and losing weight throughout life is inevitable. However, the study proved that people are more likely to gain weight while at work. The study was aimed primarily at finding out how well clothing sizes match a person's volume and shape. Designers around the world are calling for people to wear clothes that fit their size. science
