Experts from the NASA Space Institute noted that the average annual temperature on our planet continues to rise. Observations of temperature indicators in 2013 allowed experts to conclude that 2013 should share 7th place with 2006 and 2009 as the warmest years in history, starting from 1880. Based on such indicators, NASA experts note that the world continues to increase the temperature, although quite gradually.

7 countries are involved in global warming

Experts from the Goddard Institute analyzed the average daily temperature on Earth in 2013. Taking into account all the research data, scientists were able to compile a report on what the situation was in 2013. Comparing the 2013 figures with previous years, scientists concluded that the air temperature is currently much higher. In 2013, meteorologists recorded that the average air temperature was 14.6 °C, if compared with the last century, the air on Earth warmed up by 0.6 °C.

Gavin Schmidt, a leading specialist at the Space Research Center, noted that climate change continues on Earth. He presented all his findings and conclusions at a press conference at NASA. According to Gavin Schmidt, such a picture can be observed in the long term. All the studies and analyses conducted only confirm the fact that relatively warm weather should be expected in 2014.

It is worth noting that the Earth's temperature indicators for the past year were analyzed not only by the National Climate Center, but also by the National Administration of the United States, which also compared temperature indicators for different years. In this research center, scientists came to the conclusion that in 2013 the average temperature indicator reached 14.52 °C. Scientists from the Administration adhered to other research methods, since according to their data, 2013, starting from 1980, should be in fourth place among the warmest.

Experts from Canada have compiled a rating of countries that have contributed the most to the increase in the Earth's temperature. The list is topped by the Republic of China, the United States, Brazil, Germany, Russia, Great Britain, and India. At Montreal's Concordia University, experts have determined that all of these countries together are 60% to blame for the increase in the Earth's temperature, i.e., based on their activities, countries should be responsible for a temperature increase of 0.7 °C (the overall temperature increase was 0.74 °C; scientists analyzed the data from 1906 to 2005).

To establish more precise data and find out how much each country contributes to warming, experts assessed the impact of each type of emission into the atmosphere, taking into account the duration of the impact on the atmosphere caused by them.

If we take the percentage ratio, then the United States is in first place - 22% (0.15°C), then the Republic of China - 9%, the Russian Federation - 8%, Brazil and India - 7% each, Germany and Great Britain - 5%.
