Pesticides are more dangerous for children than tobacco smoke

In the US State Research Institute of the State of California, a team of scientists found that pesticides are extremely dangerous for the child's body, and the action of pesticides is much more destructive than tobacco smoke.
In their studies, experts analyzed the state of health of about 300 children from six months to 5 years. All the children who participated in the study lived in the Salinas Valley, where they mainly cultivate vegetables, there are a lot of farms, so in California this region is considered one of the productive agricultural areas.
It has long been proven that pesticides (chemicals used by farmers to save crops from pests) are very harmful to the human body, because of them there are various health problems, including asthma, hormonal disorders, neurological diseases, cancer, as well as congenital pathologies of the fetus.
But as the scientist managed to find out, the children who live near the fields where the pesticides are treated are particularly affected by chemicals. Parents, returning home from work, bring on their clothes poisonous substances that fall into the lungs of children. The survey showed that children from the Salinas Valley had problems with the respiratory system, in addition, in all children, the lungs were less than the norm by 8%.
The researchers compared the effects on the child's body after inhaling the tobacco smoke, and as a result, it was found that the lungs were less than 4% in children surrounded by smokers and forced to breathe smoke from cigarettes.
In addition to the influence of pesticides on children, scientists studied how chemicals work on pregnant women and found that after exposure to high doses of chemicals, women are more likely to have mentally retarded children with signs of autism.
Summing up the results of the research, scientists urge their parents to observe security (dressing other clothes while working in the fields, returning home, changing clothes and, if possible, taking a shower), and also to protect their children from visiting agrocomplexes.

It should be noted that heavy metals are practically not removed from the body, accumulating in tissues and organs, they can cause a number of serious health problems.
