In recent years, scientists have made a significant breakthrough in the field of medicine and the treatment of complex diseases.
Recently, experts from Israel have proposed an entirely new technique for treating infertility in women associated with pathological changes in the inner layer of the uterus (endometrium).
Within a month the body of a woman is exposed to the influence of hormones, which, in turn, affect the mucous membrane of the uterus. Under the influence of hormones, the endometrium is prepared for implantation of the fetal egg and further development of the embryo during the entire pregnancy. However, with inflammatory processes or as a result of hormonal disorders in the endometrium, pathological changes begin to occur that prevent the attachment of the fetal egg and lead to spontaneous abortions.
According to statistics, in women with pathological changes in the mucous membrane of the uterus, unsuccessful attempts to become a mother (including the method of in vitro fertilization) account for more than 65%. In most cases, with this pathology, pregnancy ends in spontaneous miscarriage.
In Israel, specialists have developed a completely new technique that helps women become pregnant with endometrial defects. This technique is unique in its kind and can make a real breakthrough in the field of female infertility treatment.
At the heart of the treatment is the method of using stem cells, which are obtained from the patient herself.
The technique was developed within the framework of works on regenerative medicine, which studies the possibilities of treating various diseases and disorders by transplantation of human stem cells directly into the lesion site.
Israeli doctors decided to use stem cells to treat infertility in women, which developed due to pathological changes in the endometrium.
The new treatment method was based on a combination of knowledge in the field of biomedical engineering and biology. Specialists decided to use stem cells from a woman's fat for transplantation into the inner part of the uterus. Prepared in a special way in the laboratory, stem cells are transplanted into the womb of the woman, and as a result, the egg is renewed and the inner layer of the uterus restored.
In total, this fertilization takes no more than two weeks.
Specialists have already tried the technique on a 40-year-old woman who had a serious pathology of the endometrium. The result was stunning - for the first time in the history of medicine, a woman with a similar diagnosis could conceive and tolerate a perfectly healthy baby.
The author of a unique technique was Israeli gynecologist Ilya Bar. According to Bar, the procedure for fertilization is simple and quick, and also painless.
Now doctors in Israel have already started using this technique to treat infertility in women. As experts noted, getting pregnant with stem cells is obtained in 80% of cases.
Scientists suggest that the new method will become widespread and allow many women to get rid of pathology and to learn the happiness of motherhood.
