In one of the coffee houses in Queensland, visitors can purchase an unusual product - coffee enemas, and such a proposal is a success, more than one hundred sets have been bought.
To scientifically justify the use of coffee enemas, Charlotte Gerson's book was used for the basis, which successfully uses coffee for many years to treat a variety of diseases. For four years, Charlotte put a coffee enema for herself and her husband, who had problems with the cardiovascular system. As the author says, the positive effect of the coffee enema will appear after several years of regular application.
The owner of the coffee house with an unusual proposal notes that coffee enemas can not be used by everyone, but such enemas even helped stop the development of cancerous tumors. Influence on the effect of enema can also be the strength of the drink and the individual feature of the organism.
Coffee is not the first time in the spotlight. More than once his properties were investigated by scientists and in one of the recent studies specialists of one of the universities made an interesting conclusion. As it turned out, coffee affects the attitude to life and raises the mood. Coffee lovers start to look more optimistic about the world. Such conclusions scientists made after the experiment, during which scientists studied the effect of the drink on two groups of older people.
In the first group, volunteers were offered to drink a few cups of coffee with caffeine daily, while another offered a decaffeinated drink. The participants of the study described their state of health and mood every day. As a result, scientists noticed that in the first group (in which coffee with caffeine was offered) felt generally more satisfied with life and positively assessed everything that happens in their lives.
Scientists from Harvard University conducted an analysis of suicidal adults. The experiment involved people who daily consumed several cups of coffee and who did not drink this drink at all (or prefer coffee without caffeine). As a result of their observations, scientists concluded that among people who drink 2-4 cups of coffee a day, suicidal tendencies were manifested in half. Another study group noted that coffee with caffeine reduces the likelihood of depression among the female population. At the same time, an appropriate study was conducted in Harvard, then scientists noted a 15% reduction in the risk of depressive states among coffee lovers, compared to those who did not drink coffee at all.
In addition, experts note that the dependence on coffee can be compared with drug abuse, because with a decrease in the daily drunk coffee dose, there is a withdrawal syndrome. Thus the person can not force to refuse coffee neither pregnancy, nor heart diseases, nor bleedings not compatible with the use of coffee.
The Association of Psychiatrists in the United States has recognized coffee dependence as a real problem of the present and there are already centers that work to help people recover from coffee dependence.
