A new disease is spreading rapidly in the world. Studies conducted in America have shown that a person is increasingly losing patience because of too slow Internet connection. Extra seconds of waiting turn into a real test, and in the case of computer hanging, sweaty palms, arrhythmia, increased pressure, rage are observed, in some cases the person completely loses control.

Studies conducted in France showed that on average, each user loses 11 minutes per day as a result of waiting while the computer boots. In a year, 5 days are obtained. In addition, 53% of all respondents said that at this time they are strongly irritated, 22% are waiting for the system to boot, they get their smartphones. And 27% say that they became restless to sleep at night because of too "inhibitory iron", and 2% of people this spoils the whole day for the whole day.

11 minutes of waiting a day is 2% of the working time. At this time a person could easily relax, rest a little, but, unfortunately, this is impossible because modern man completely forgot how to wait.

Patience is a real art, but our brain, simply speaking, wants to get everything right away. This phenomenon has already been described in many neurobiological studies: the striatum (part of the brain, also called the striatum) pushes the person to new sensations, risk. As a result of the activity of this part of the brain, we tend to choose immediate reward, preferring it even to one that is much larger, but postponed in time. The only way to resist such intolerance is to develop the prefrontal cortex, which exercises cognitive control over the impulses of a person.

Neuronal connections that are located in the prefrontal cortex, allow this site to control the striatum, the more developed the connection, the more tolerant a person.

In the 80's, when the need to wait for something began to disappear in the upbringing of children, the scientists formed the principles on which it was necessary to learn patience. Following this principle, it is necessary in time to increase the time intervals from the desired to the receipt. This principle really works and it is proved that the striatum, the impatient part of our brain, can gradually be disaccustomed to the habit of receiving everything immediately. But in the same case, the opposite effect also works: if waiting time is shortened, the striatum again gets up and the person loses patience. Therefore, scientists warn that if you are used to getting everything at once, then you will have to deal with this habit most difficult and put up with expectation. It is this trend that is observed now: the improvement of technology has led to the fact that the loading time of the system and various applications has become shorter, and the striatum, our striped body in the brain, is so used to it that even a slight delay in the system leads to unbearable torments.
