Everyone knows that excessive consumption of sugar and foods containing it is incompatible with a healthy lifestyle and a balanced diet. Many health problems arise because of too much sugar entering the bloodstream with food.

Despite the fact that in the last century, sugar was actively used in medicine, recently specialists are inclined to the fact that the use of sugar can adversely affect the state of human health. Researchers believe that consumption of sugar and sweets can cause many diseases of internal organs.

The constant use of sweet foods can cause fluctuations in blood glucose levels, which in turn, disrupts metabolic processes in the body, provokes obesity, contributes to the development of dangerous diseases of the nervous and cardiovascular system. The above problems with health will help to avoid only a balanced and healthy diet.

American scientists have reported that there are several products that can discourage the desire to eat only sweets and replace sugar-containing foods.

The first product on the list of Americans is an apple. This fruit contains a large amount of fructose, vitamin C and fiber needed by the human body. Fiber of apple reduces the risk of cancer cells and stimulates the peristalsis of the gastrointestinal tract. Dietary fibers of apples give a feeling of satiety, and the natural sweetness of the fruit can replace foods that contain too much sugar.

The next product the Americans called sugar corn. After heat treatment, the vegetable acquires a unique sweet taste, which can replace sweets and sweet syrups. In alternative medicine, corn stigmas are used in diseases of the liver, gallbladder and pancreas. Fatty oil, vitamin K, sitosterol, which are found in sugar corn, have diuretic and choleretic properties. Also, cooking is often used unrefined corn oil, which is recommended to use for the prevention of diabetes and obesity.

Sweet potatoes (sweet potato) - a starchy vegetable with a sweet taste, reminiscent of ordinary potatoes, can become an excellent side dish and replace dessert. Like any product containing a large amount of starch, sweet potato is very nutritious. The taste will help to get rid of thoughts of sweets, and the high content of iron and vitamin D will ensure no problems with blood circulation.

Cinnamon is a spice that can provide desserts a sweet taste without the use of sugar or syrup. Doctors recommend using cinnamon in the preparation of hot drinks, fruit baking. Daily use of cinnamon prevents diseases of the brain and nervous system and normalizes the level of glucose in the blood. In summer, researchers advise to pay more attention to seasonal berries and fruits, freshly squeezed juices and fruit marmalade.
