Depression - one of the most common mental disorders, which affects about 10% of the adult population of the planet. Depression reduces self-esteem, loss of interest in life, there is a violation of thinking and inhibition of movements. At the moment, depression can be treated, and the main areas of treatment are pharmacotherapy, social therapy and psychotherapy.

The main factors that accompany depression

  • Emotional and sexual abuse, family discomfort or death of someone close, a genetic predisposition
  • Long-awaited positive events, such as marriage, inheritance, can lead to depression.
  • More than 35% of people who suffer from depression have harmful habits: smoking tobacco, drinking alcohol, gambling.
  • Women have a 40% more risk of suffering from depression. Sexual dependence is associated with estrogens, which are in the female body and can cause psychological problems.
