Scientists from the British University reported that the risks of malignant tumors grow every year. Studies show that if a few years ago the probability of getting cancer was estimated as 44 out of 100 chances, then by 2028, that is, in just fifteen years, the chances of getting sick grow to 50 cases out of 100. The data show that the probability of being affected by an oncological disease will grow to 50%, which can significantly reduce the life expectancy of the world's population.

Age is the main component of statistics: physicians are sure that it is the high life expectancy that is the factor that determines the possibility of the formation of a cancerous tumor. In developed countries, people live longer and older age increases the chance of developing cancer. Scientists believe that the data obtained will double the interest in the future: increasing the duration of human life is an indubitable plus, but on the other hand, more people will be diagnosed with age-specific diseases. Diagnosis of cancer diseases and methods of treatment are in constant development and improve, respectively, along with the increase in patients, physicians predict and increase the chances of recovery and favorable outcome of drug treatment.

Studies show that in the next 10-15 years, the number of diseases such as prostate cancer and intestinal cancer will rise . If we talk about prostate cancer, then every year the number of patients who suffer from this type of cancer disease grows. Most patients are men of advanced age. Doctors noted that with increasing life expectancy of a person the number of patients with prostate cancer will increase. Over the past 30 years, the number of British patients has tripled, despite the fact that effective treatment has not yet been approved. Scientists from the University of Florida (USA) are working on a study of a particular enzyme that can stimulate the development of prostate cancer. Perhaps in the course of experiments on the newly invented substance, doctors will be able to discover a new medicine that can fight cancer cells. With regard to bowel cancer, at this time, the study and diagnosis of the disease have moved far enough, and scientists are confident that in the near future a technique will be developed that will significantly reduce mortality rates. Elastic sigmoidoscopy, according to experts, is a method by which it is possible to detect a cancer at an early stage, which facilitates the work of physicians and helps at an early stage to determine the treatment needed for a particular patient. Over the past 10 years, lethal outcomes from bowel cancer have decreased by 30%, which significantly affected the overall picture of mortality in Britain.

The research data showed that the male mortality from cancers exceeds the female mortality by almost 35%. In particular, men die of liver cancer twice as often as women, which may be due to lifestyle and bad habits.
