Freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices is undoubtedly one of the main and indispensable attributes of a healthy diet. It is an inexhaustible source of vitamins needed for the body, especially in winter, when we are exhausted. Despite the fact that fresh juices have a lot of useful properties, do not forget about the rules of their use, otherwise instead of a positive effect you can expect complications.
Any nutritionist will confirm that fresh carrot juice is a product that is useful for anyone, regardless of age. But experts from the US warn: the use of carrot juice should be limited to several glasses a week. In addition, drink freshly squeezed carrot juice on an empty stomach - strictly contraindicated. This information is due to the fact that American nutritionists have traced the pattern between the use of so-called vegetable freshes and the violation of the functions of the digestive system.
If you are used to starting the day with freshly squeezed juice, do not stop picking on a carrot. Carrot juice can exert an irritating effect on the microflora of the stomach and intestines, so try to use it not earlier than 30-50 minutes after eating. People who suffer from diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and pancreatitis should refrain from drinking juice from carrots. For the morning meal, tomato juice without salt is best, it does not contain sugar, and acidity is not dangerous for the stomach.
Carrot juice is contraindicated in people who are prohibited from sugar under the threat of diabetes, as well as those who already suffer from diabetes. A few years ago, Scottish scientists found that of all the vegetable juices that are popular with the population, most of the sugar contains exactly carrot juice. Such information appeared after the doctors found out that with the regular use of freshly squeezed juice, the blood sugar level rose noticeably. The amount of sugar should pay attention not only to diabetics, but also to those who suffer from excess weight and strive to lose weight on a diet of freshly squeezed juices.
With daily consumption of too much carrot juice (from two glasses), there is a risk of food intoxication, which can occur in attacks of vomiting, nausea, dizziness and even fainting. If you notice that after a glass of "useful" product you feel lethargic, heaviness in the head and limbs, slight dizziness, then, first, try to limit the amount of carrot juice drunk, and then consult a gastroenterologist.
Beta-carotene, which is found in large amounts in carrot juice, can affect the complexion. If you drink more than two glasses of juice daily, do not be surprised to notice a strange yellowness instead of a healthy blush.
Of course, do not be afraid and exclude carrots from the diet completely. In a reasonable amount, carrot juice will have a beneficial effect on vision, on the health of tooth enamel and liver function. It will be optimal to limit the intake of fresh carrot juice to 3-4 glasses a week after eating.
