In hot summer time, the number of people infected with intestinal bacteria increases dramatically. If you follow certain recommendations, you can protect your body from dangerous microorganisms.
Undoubtedly, in summer the products spoil quickly, so at this time of year there is a good chance to eat anything that is not good. Bacteria rapidly multiply in the heat, hitting meat, dairy and even confectionery. In addition, there is an acute need for water, but not always (in nature), it is possible to obtain safe and clean water, and it is not always possible to create conditions for boiling it. It is also an indisputable fact that the E. Coli is a disease of dirty hands.
To protect yourself and your loved ones from the effects of E. Coli, observe the following rules: refuse to purchase imported vegetables and fruits. To make sure that you are not deceived, demand a certificate of quality, which will indicate the birthplace of the brought fruit. Try to eat vegetables grown by your own hands in the garden, only so you can be completely sure that they do not contain harmful substances. Do not water the beds with infusion of cow dung collected in a meadow. This can be dangerous to your health.
Acquired or collected vegetables and fruits should be thoroughly washed under running water. It is desirable for these purposes to use laundry soap. Salad, parsley or other greens before use soak for a couple of hours in cold water.
Do not try berries, fruits or vegetables in the market before buying. Refuse to purchase cut watermelons or melons, do not ask to cut them on the street. Always (after returning from the street, after going to the toilet, before eating), wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Pay special attention to the area between the fingers and cut the nails short. Drink only bottled (industrial production) or boiled drinking water. Do not use water from ponds even for technical purposes.
Thoroughly roast or boil meat and minced meat. For cutting vegetables and cutting meat use separate boards and knives. After use, wash the kitchen utensils thoroughly with hot water and laundry soap. Get rid of the habit of gnawing nails and a pen. Toys brought by the child from kindergarten or from the street should be washed thoroughly with soap.
