Scientists from the Autonomous University of Madrid (Spain), after conducting a study, came to the conclusion that many fried foods can be made not so dangerous to heart health , if you use olive or sunflower oil. The researchers did not find an increased risk of heart disease and premature death in people who cook meat and other foods in this way.
But on other types of butter and pork fat is not worth cooking. Therefore, the standard dishes, cooked deep-fried, continue to be in the "black list".
In the course of the study, experts examined 40,757 people, having learned their diet and checking their current health status. None of the participants in the study had signs of heart disease and high cholesterol. For the health of the subjects, the scientists observed for 11 years.
At the end of the study, there were 1 134 deaths and 606 heart disease cases.
A detailed study of the data did not reveal the connection between heart diseases and fried foods in people who cooked in olive or sunflower oil.
