Premature aging of the skin can not but grieve. There are a lot of reasons provoking irreversible epidermal processes, but recently experts added to this list excessive hobby for social networks and frequent use of gadgets.
The statement of scientists makes you think, because in the modern world almost every person is registered in a social network or uses portable electronics (phones, tablets, smartphones, smart watches, etc.). Scientists have already warned that a new epidemic threatens humanity: dependence on social networks, which can be compared with alcoholism or drug addiction, has become so popular in recent years that it's hard to imagine life without them, sometimes even politicians " communicate "with the help of social networks.
But experts once again warned that such hobbies do not go to the benefit of a person, in addition to the banal loss of time, this can lead to the appearance of premature wrinkles.
A poll of American scientists showed that almost 80% of people who participated in the survey are starting to get very nervous if they do not have the opportunity to use their smartphone or visit their social network page for a long time (by the way, specialists expected such results).
More than 5,000 people from Spain, France, Russia, Taiwan, Italy, South Korea took part in the survey, 2/3 of which used smartphones for Internet access all the time, and 1/3 "sat" on social networks for more than 2 hours every day at the time of the survey the respondents were over 35 years old).
Experts asked each participant whether they noticed that frequent use of gadgets or social addiction leads to the appearance of premature wrinkles, and almost half of the respondents noted that they actually noticed such changes on the face, some of them even showed specific signs of aging. Many participants noted that they began to notice on the face of the so-called "crow's feet" (mimic wrinkles in the outer corners of the eyes), deepening the interbrow fold, reducing the elasticity of the skin. At the same time, almost 56% of survey participants stated that they did not observe any signs of aging.
Scientists noted that almost every person is sure that while reading from the screen of the smartphone facial muscles relax, however, this is not so. Many people, reading from the screen, frown, eyebrows, etc., which, naturally, affects the skin and leads to the appearance of new mimic wrinkles.
Scientists once again called for less use of their gadgets and dose time in social networks.
By the way, in Norway experts have stated that Facebook acts on a person as a drug.
Experts have found that such resources generate a strong psychological dependence and act on the brain in much the same way as cocaine. Experiments have shown that social networks activate striatal and amygdala-shaped bodies in the brain, the same areas are activated in people with drug dependence.
