Are you ready to expose your body to the sun's rays for hours on end to get a beautiful tan? However, after taking such sunbaths, it is necessary to properly care for the tanned skin.

A visit to a city beach or a trip to a popular resort is unthinkable without spending idle time on the beach in the name of getting a beautiful bronze tan. But in order for the tan to be even and the bronze shade to last for a long time, after completing a pleasant tanning procedure, adhere to the following rules:

The key to a long-lasting tan is a careful approach to cleansing the skin of the body. After returning from the resort, you will have to forget about hot baths and, in general, about bath procedures that last more than 10 minutes. High temperatures combined with the use of a sponge or washcloth have a destructive effect on the upper layers of the epidermis. Even a visually seemingly even tan can begin to fade under the influence of regular soap massage. The skin will begin to peel, turn red and will have an untidy appearance. Therefore, wash with cool or slightly warm water, but not hot.

Replace your regular shower gel with a moisturizer. Your body skin needs to restore its lipid balance after exposure to the sun. Choose creamy textures with added glycerin and essential oils of calendula, sea buckthorn and orange.

To prevent sunburn and maintain your tan, a light body cream will not do. Buy a thick butter based on shea and argan oil or baby body oil. Only rich products will help you cope with irritation and dryness with regular use. Vitamins A and E, which are part of such oil, will keep your tan beautiful for a long time. After a shower, blot your skin with a terry towel and apply the selected product. After 10-15, remove any remaining excess with a cloth napkin;

If you do get burned, buy a special cooling spray at the drugstore. Choose a product with an anesthetic effect - this one definitely contains lidocaine. Or lubricate the burned areas of the skin with low-fat sour cream and leave for about half an hour.
