Experts from the University of Cloudy Scotland have announced the results of research that will undoubtedly please all the fair sex. Skin color can be easily improved naturally, by refusing self-tanning cream and visiting a solarium. Scientists from the University of St. Andrews, which is the oldest educational institution in the United Kingdom, say that by eating certain vegetables and fruits, every woman can easily achieve a beautiful complexion.
Scientists are confident that daily consumption of several portions of fresh vegetables and fruits can be a guarantee of success and healthy and beautiful skin. Experts noted that after three to four weeks of changing the diet, the skin acquires a healthy glow, characteristic of a light tan. In order to verify the unambiguity of this assumption, university employees conducted a study, for which they recruited three dozen volunteers. The experiment consisted of the researchers analyzing the effect of food products on the color and condition of the participants' skin. For six weeks, doctors monitored the participants' diet, as well as the changes that occurred with the skin of the face and body. The participants were photographed at the beginning and end of the experiment, and several photographs were also taken during the test period. An analysis was conducted of the effect of fruits, vegetables and greens on skin color and its general condition. The researchers found that the participants in the experiment who ate a large amount of fruit had a more saturated yellow-red hue, reminiscent of a light tan.
Scientists claim that to get a healthy complexion and a light tan, a person needs to eat at least 3 small portions of fruits and vegetables daily. According to them, six weeks is enough for the skin to acquire an attractive and radiant appearance.
The author of the experiment is pleased with the result and considers it very timely and useful for society. He stated that recently too many people resort to the help of artificial tanning creams or visit solariums in order to get rid of painful pallor by spring. The purpose of the experiment was to prove that a beautiful complexion depends only on the products consumed daily.
The results of the work will be able to convince people to refuse excessive exposure to ultraviolet radiation and pay attention to the nutrition system. Among the products that promise to be useful in acquiring "new" skin, experts noted white cabbage, kiwi and carrots. Also, products containing carotenoids will help to provide an excellent complexion. All fruits and vegetables that contain pigments of yellow, red and bright orange colors are able to saturate the skin, which will outwardly resemble a light tan. On the other hand, vegetables that are sources of carotene will also be useful as a preventive measure against eye diseases due to the restorative effect exerted on the retina.
