The healthy food category is constantly expanding, and many of us are keeping a close eye on it to diversify our diet. But it turns out that some foods that are considered healthy are not actually healthy.

Chocolate-hazelnut spread is a sweet spread made from hazelnuts, cocoa and skim milk. If you believe the advertising, this type of healthy food is incredibly healthy, but in reality, this product is no healthier than chocolate bars. Two teaspoons of this spread contain 200 calories, 21 grams of sugar and 11 grams of fat. For this deception, one woman recently sued the Italian manufacturer Nutella and won.

"Natural" breakfast cereals are colorful boxes from which parents pour their children's breakfasts into bowls in the morning to pour milk over them. It is hardly acceptable to call them "natural" - there are too many GMOs in them for healthy eating. For example, the soybeans in Kashi GoLean cereals contain 100% GMOs!

Sports drinks - will only be useful if you regularly run marathons. If the loads are less intense, then shock doses of sugar, salt and artificial colors are unlikely to strengthen your health. In addition, sports and energy drinks are to blame for the destruction of tooth enamel.

Energy bars - The energy boost you feel after eating one is due to the amount of sweeteners. Many energy bar manufacturers refuse to disclose what sugars are hidden inside. And different types of sugars are used, including high fructose corn syrup, brown sugar, and cane juice.

Meat "without artificial preservatives" - we can only thank meat producers for removing artificial preservatives like potassium chloride and sodium nitrate, but this does not make the meat healthy, because it remains processed. Daily doses of salami or bacon increase the risk of premature death by 20%.

Bottled green tea - the benefits of green tea have long been known. But this has nothing to do with bottled tea. Some varieties contain an absolute minimum of healthy catechins, but are full of sugar.
