The category of healthy foods is constantly replenished, and many of us closely follow it to diversify their diet. But it turns out that some products that are generally considered healthy, in fact, are not.
Chocolate-nut paste is a sweet spread of hazelnuts, cocoa and skimmed milk. If you believe in advertising, this kind of healthy food is incredibly useful, but in fact this product is no more healthy than chocolate bars. Two teaspoons of this paste contain 200 calories, 21 grams of sugar and 11 grams of fat. For such a deception, one woman recently sued the Italian manufacturer Nutella and won it.
"Natural" cereal for breakfast - colorful boxes, where parents in the mornings poured breakfast for children in plates to fill them with milk. "Natural" they can hardly be called - there are too many GMOs for a healthy diet. For example, in soy flakes brand Kashi GoLean GMO content in general is 100%!
Sports drinks - will be useful to you only if you regularly run a marathon. If the loads are less intense, then shock doses of sugar, salt and artificial dyes are unlikely to improve health. In addition, sports and energy drinks are to blame for the destruction of tooth enamel.
Energy bars - the inflow of energy that you feel after using this bar is related to the amount of sweeteners. Many manufacturers of these bars refuse to disclose which sugars are hidden inside. And different types of sugars are used, including corn syrup with a lot of fructose, brown sugar and cane juice.
Meat "without artificial preservatives" - you can only thank meat producers for removing artificial preservatives, such as potassium chloride and sodium nitrate, but the meat does not become healthy because it remains processed. Daily doses of salami or bacon increase the risk of premature death by 20%.
Bottled green tea - the benefits of green tea have long been known. But to the bottled it has nothing to do. Some of its grades contain an absolute minimum of healthy catechins, but full of sugar.
