Ukrainian women are rapidly aging. This opinion was expressed by the Ukrainian publication Weekly in conjunction with the United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine.
This fact was revealed during the compilation of the portrait of the average Ukrainian by the publication Weekly in conjunction with the United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine. It turned out that the age of the average representative of the weaker sex in our country exceeds the critical bar of 40 years.
More accurate figures give official statistics, according to which the average Ukrainian age is 42.7 years.
Meanwhile, back in the early 90s, this indicator was about 38 years.
We add that according to statistics, for the first time Ukrainians get married at the age of 20-24. Each woman, on average, gives birth to 1.2 children. The average life expectancy of Ukrainian women is 74.8 years, and that of men is 64.3. The main causes of death of Ukrainian women are heart diseases and cancer.
