Technologies are developing at a rapid pace and what yesterday seemed like a fantasy, tomorrow can become a part of our real life. Scientists say that in the near future medical technologies will allow a person to live more than a hundred years, in addition, artificial intelligence can provide humanity with eternal life.

The professor from the largest educational and research center in Israel, Yuval Noah Harari, said that in two hundred years, humanity will attain immortality, and people will become like cyborgs (without human flesh or with a small part of it). The professor also noted that such a step would be the most significant in the history of life on our planet, and these are billions of years.

According to Harari, it is likely that over the next two hundred years, a "reasonable person" who has ruled over 100,000 years on earth can transform himself with special methods of controlling living organisms, genetic engineering, or by creating cyborg humans in an immortal being , in other words, a new kind of person may appear on the earth.

The scientist also noted that in all ages the person strove for satisfaction, and the idea of creating new abilities with the help of genetics or innovative technologies will soon begin to be realized, especially since the achievements of science already allow this to be done.

Hanna Critchlow, who works as a neuroscientist at the University of Cambridge, also believes that it is the computer that will give man eternal life. This will become possible after scientists can create a machine that will compete with the most unique human body - the brain.

Dr. Critchlow believes that a person can be part of the machine and this will become possible after there are really powerful computers that can process the human mind.

At its core, the human mind is the electrical impulses transmitted between the neurons, and, according to the expert, to place the person of a person in a computer is necessary for the machine to be able to recreate all the necessary connections that are inherent in the brain. According to Hanna Critchlow, if there was now a computer capable of creating hundreds of trillions of cross-links, then such a machine could well be called a full-fledged artificial intelligence.

At the same time, she stressed that for the brain all the neural connections are important, and refuted the widespread opinion that the brain works only 10%. As explained by Critchlow, the human brain activates only those areas that are needed to solve the tasks set at a certain time. If the human brain constantly used all its capabilities, then the body simply would not have enough energy. The weight of the brain is about 1.5 kg, which is 2% of the total body weight, while for normal operation it requires 20% of energy, so if the brain will work at full capacity, the "fuses" of our body can burn out. According to Kirtchlow in the process of evolution, the human brain began to work at "low speed", which allowed the entire body to function harmoniously.
