American scientists came to the conclusion that a dream immediately after sex shows true love between partners, writes Daily Mail.
In a study of evolutionary psychologists from the University of Michigan and Albright College in Pennsylvania, 456 people took part. All of them filled anonymous questionnaires on the topic of intimacy with a partner and feelings for him. Also, all participants were asked "who among you and your partner first falls asleep after sex?" and "who falls asleep first, if there was no sex after bedding?".
It turned out that those volunteers, whose partners usually fell asleep immediately after sexual intercourse, were much more inclined to embrace and relaxed conversations with their chosen or chosen ones, which indicates their affection and warm feelings. "The more a man's sexual partner is inclined to fall asleep after sex, the stronger the desire of this person for intimacy," - concluded the research director Daniel Kruger (Daniel Kruger).
Also in the course of the study it was found out that, contrary to the popular point of view, men after the sexual contact fall asleep first not more often than women. In this case, women are more likely to fall asleep first, if there was no sex. As scientists have suggested, it can be instinctively connected with the fact that the man continues to rely on sexual intercourse, or with the phenomenon of "protection of copulation" - to ensure that the woman does not go to another partner.
