A bacterium has been created that will help specialists unravel the secrets of our Universe and understand how life on earth appeared. At the heart of the bacteria silicon and carbon, and developed by its experts at the California University of Technology. Many experts adhered to the theory that life on our planet came about thanks to carbon. The results of working with a new bacterium will help to resolve the question of what caused the emergence of life on earth - carbon or silicon, perhaps experts will be able to study this issue from different angles.

Silicon and carbon have the same chemical properties - they have an equal set of free valences and can form polymer bonds with oxygen, which is the nucleus for DNA.

In their new research, the specialists used the method of directed evolution, and they are sure that this work will not only help unravel the mysteries of the appearance of life on the planet, but also help develop new substances that can be useful not only in medicine but also in other areas.

It is worth noting that other scientists are also trying to unravel some of the mysteries of our universe that many learned men of past centuries have not given rest. In a recent study, a team of specialists tried to determine why suns and gamma-ray flares occur.

According to experts, even an insignificant solar flare can create interruptions in communication, and increasing the strength of cosmic gamma radiation can destroy all life on our planet in just seconds. Until quite recently, specialists knew practically nothing about these phenomena, except that they depend on some sort of magnetic reconnection, but it was not possible to understand the causes that provoke solar flares and the emission of cosmic energy.

A gamma-ray burst is called a colossal release of cosmic energy of an explosive nature. Similar phenomena occur at the present time in remote from our universes. These energy releases are the brightest electromagnetic phenomena that occur in galaxies. Such a burst usually lasts a few seconds, but in some cases this phenomenon can last for more than half an hour. After the first release of the energy of the cosmos, a long "afterglow" usually begins, which occurs on longer waves, such as those used in X-rays, radio, optics, etc.

During solar flares, kinetic, light and heat energy is released in the three outer layers of the sun - the chromosphere, the photosphere and the sun's crown (the sun's atmosphere). A powerful solar flare in its power can be compared with the world energy consumption for 1 million years.

According to the authors of the study, both solar flares and gamma radiation occur irrespective of all laws known to date, they occur according to some own principles that are not yet known to mankind. Experts continue to work in this area and are confident that they will be able to understand this issue and make any forecasts on this matter.
