Scientists assume that the measles virus is able to cope with cancer cells. During their research, specialists developed a certain type of measles virus that helped overcome cancer. A patient diagnosed with blood cancer was given large doses of the measles virus, which resulted in a complete recovery. After treatment, the cancer went into remission and the woman has had no signs of cancer for six months now.
In the woman's body, the measles virus had a detrimental effect on cancer cells, while not affecting healthy ones. This treatment is great for treating blood cancer and multiple myeloma. The principle of treatment is quite simple: the measles virus initially penetrates the body and destroys tissue. At this stage, specialists have already tested the effect of the viral therapy on two patients and, according to the report, their bone marrow protein and myeloma levels have decreased.
During the experiment, scientists injected patients with a modified measles virus that only affected myeloma plasma cells. Oncologists now treat myeloma with immunostimulants, but in most cases, cancer adapts and the cure rate for this disease is not very high.
Recently, the incidence of cancer has been increasing and scientists are trying to find new and effective ways to combat this disease.
Recently, American scientists managed to find out that peach extract can significantly slow down the development of cancer. The effect of peach extract was studied on rodents. During their study, the specialists introduced aggressive breast cancer into mice, then the test subjects were injected with peach extract.
After a few days, scientists detected a decrease in the marker gene in the rodents' lungs, indicating that metastasis in the mice's bodies had stopped.
This action occurs due to the phenolic compounds contained in the peach extract. According to experts, peaches can be added to your daily diet as a preventive measure against cancer. At the same time, the compounds contained in peaches are destructive only for cancer cells.
Experts recommend including in your daily menu not only peaches, but also other vegetables and fruits that contain natural compounds. However, you should only eat fresh fruits, juices, even freshly squeezed, do not have a similar effect on the body.
In addition, scientists have proven the harm of supplements to the body, in particular their ability to provoke cancer. For example, increased doses of folic acid, which is prescribed to women during pregnancy for the normal development of the child, increase the risk of breast cancer.
During the experiment, it was found that precancerous and cancerous cells are activated when the dose of folic acid exceeded the maximum permissible dose by 2.5 to 5 times. Experts note that for people whose diet contains a large number of products rich in folic acid, this problem is especially relevant. Also, do not forget about various biologically active additives.
