Scientists have stated that in the next few years the most effective diet based on a genetic program will be developed. An individual diet will be selected for each person, as a result of which extra pounds will disappear without much effort.
Genetic scientists have stated that very soon strict diets will be a thing of the past and people who want to normalize their weight will not have to count calories, starve themselves, etc.
A new diet may appear in just 5 years, according to scientists, when choosing a diet, DNA data will be taken into account and a specific set of products will be selected for each person.
Experts have already conducted several studies in this area, and the first stage has already been worked out - sequencing of genomes. This analysis requires the patient's saliva, special automatic sensors process information about the person, in particular about nutrition, stress, physical activity, etc. It is worth noting that today this method is already used in diagnostics, although the procedure is not yet available to the general public, its cost is quite acceptable.
After collecting all the necessary information, the computer program processes all the data and creates an individual diet. According to scientists, such a diet will be more effective than all those known today, since the diet is based on DNA data.
Modern mobile devices will make personalized diet technology more accessible. Today, gadgets can already receive information about the temperature or heartbeat of the "owner", and experts believe that it is easy to add a genome sequencing function to them. This approach will allow developing an individual diet for weight loss quickly and effectively.
Also, experts emphasize that the selection of products will be made taking into account the tastes and preferences of the person, so you will not have to drastically limit yourself, and the process of losing weight will proceed as easily as possible. In addition, this will prevent the likelihood of a breakdown, which often occurs with a sharp restriction in food.
The conclusions of American experts were confirmed by colleagues from Canada, who are also confident that a personal diet based on DNA data will be the most effective.
Another research group believes that the bones of the pelvis contribute to obesity. According to scientists, the bones of the human skeleton continue to grow throughout life, but after the age of 20, the bones begin to grow in width, not in length.
Scientists have noted that in old age people have a wider pelvis, on average 2.5 cm larger, which also indicates a change in the skeletal bones. Researchers have suggested that in old age the waist may be wider not only because of fat deposits, but also because of the expansion of the pelvic bones. Neither diet nor physical activity can affect bone growth, and a person's weight gradually increases. Experts have calculated that in a year, due to bone growth, a person gains an average of 500 g.
The group of scientists made their conclusions after studying the physical indicators of more than 200 patients of different ages.
