The discovery was made by accident - during studies related to the development of a malaria vaccine, scientists found that malarial proteins, if processed in a certain way, can destroy cancer cells, while quite effectively.
According to microbiologists from Washington, the new test effectively identifies all the microorganisms present in the samples and is a kind of "trap" for viruses.
