In the Russian Federation, a 15-year-old teenager died in Nizhnevartovsk, according to preliminary reports, myocardial infarction was the cause of death.

As the press service of the investigation department of the TFR in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug informs, the official conclusion of forensic doctors about the cause of death of a teenager has not been received yet, preliminary results of the research showed that just before death the schoolboy drank several cans of a non-alcoholic energy drink.

"According to specialists, this drink could become the cause of an acute myocardial infarction that developed in the child, which led to his death," the message says. It is established that the teenager before his death went on a visit to his friend, on this day he felt like usual.

Recall that in early July, Australian pediatricians concluded that energy drinks are harmful to the health of children and adolescents. The caffeine contained in them can lead to an increase in heart rate, a jump in blood pressure, and also psychic overexcitation.
