Researchers from the UK have reported that the average human life expectancy could double in the near future. According to doctors, 80 years is not the limit of human capabilities, and with the help of a drug that is currently being developed, they will be able to increase human life expectancy to 150-160 years.
The results of a major study conducted in British laboratories will undoubtedly please all hedonists and gourmets: the benefits of drinking dry red wine have finally been proven. Of course, doctors warn about the harmful effects of large quantities of alcoholic beverages, but nevertheless, drinking a glass of wine every day will have a positive effect on the health of the body.
The grape drink contains an active substance - resveratrol - a natural phytoalexin, which is known for its beneficial properties. It was previously established that resveratrol can have an anti-inflammatory and antidiabetic effect. The question of the possible benefits of dry wine was studied by many doctors throughout the 20th century. Researchers in their works compared the health of European and Russian residents and came to the conclusion that in countries where winemaking was popular, the population was distinguished by good health. Further studies of the product showed that red wine not only promotes longevity, but also prevents cancer, diseases of the nervous system and heart. The healing properties of red dry wine are associated with a large amount of such a substance as "resveratrol", which is contained in the skin of the grapes from which the drink is made.
Over the past six years, British scientists have been carefully studying resveratrol and its possible impact on the human and animal body. Scientists studied the effect of the substance on living cells and various chemical compounds and came to the conclusion that resveratrol significantly increases the lifespan of living cells. At the moment, scientists at the British University are working on a drug that will contain an artificial analogue of the beneficial substance. Experts are confident that such a drug will be able to increase the duration of human life almost twice. Presumably, the new drug will not only have a rejuvenating and restorative effect, but can also be considered a preventive measure for cardiovascular diseases and diseases of the nervous system. Many age-related ailments can also be prevented by regular use of a drug containing resveratrol.
Until a miracle cure appears on the market, doctors advise paying attention to products that contain the rejuvenating substance. As mentioned above, daily consumption of red wine at lunchtime will significantly improve your well-being, and the result will be noticeable in a month. In addition to wine and products containing grapes, it is worth paying attention to fresh mushrooms and nuts, which also contain resveratrol.
