Bisphenol A, a fairly harmful chemical compound, is part of plastic tableware, has a very strong negative impact on the human body, scientists talked about this back in 2010. Frequent use of such tableware provokes obesity, leads to problems with reproductive function, heart disease. The latest research in this area has shown that bisphenol A can also cause very severe headaches. Many people in the world suffer from migraine attacks, experts suggest that the reason for this lies in the use of plastic tableware, which is made with the addition of this unsafe chemical compound.

Experts warn that danger is posed by objects present in our everyday life: bottles, plastic cups, coolers, plastic plates, etc. A recent experiment, during which volunteer participants gave up using plastic items for just three days, showed impressive results in such a short period of time: the amount of bisphenol A in urine decreased by 66%.

At the University of Kansas, a group of scientists conducted their own study on laboratory animals. The rats selected for the experiment were divided into two groups. The first group was given a certain dose of bisphenol A every three days. Just a few hours after the chemical compound entered the rodents' bodies, the scientists noticed signs of migraine: timidity, inactivity, withdrawal from noise and light. In addition, the animals that consumed bisphenol had an increased level of estrogen, a female hormone, with sharp surges of which migraine attacks are associated.

As a result of all the studies and analyses conducted, specialists have established that bisphenol A is not only capable of provoking headaches, but also significantly intensifying them. The data obtained allow the authors of the experiments to assume that if the effect of bisphenol A on the human body is reduced, this can reduce the frequency and severity of migraine attacks, and this will also contribute to improving the quality of life of people who suffer from this disease.

A huge number of people in the world suffer from migraine attacks, and the female half of humanity is three times more susceptible to frequent and severe headaches. And the use of bisphenol A can be found almost everywhere today: in car panels, cosmetics, etc. The countries of the European Union, Canada, China and some other countries have banned the use of this dangerous chemical compound in plastic baby bottles at the state level. However, scientists are sure that this is not enough. Scientists urge people who are susceptible to migraines to refuse contact with potential sources of harmful compounds, which most are used to dealing with on a daily basis: coolers, plastic bottles, plastic microwave trays, etc. Experts are sure that this will help, if not completely get rid of severe attacks, then significantly reduce the symptoms of the disease.
