Many people love sweets, children, women, and even some men are not averse to pampering themselves with a variety of sweet products. Without thinking about the harm of the product? The consequences of such abuse are noticeable and visible to the naked eye. All the extra pieces will manifest themselves in the form of extra pounds. Which will spoil the mood at best, not to mention the harmful effects on human health.

American scientists have conducted a lot of research, analysis and experiments and came to the following conclusion: sugar is necessary for the body, but in small doses and not in its pure form, as we are used to eating all our lives. It is contained in fruits, vegetables and every plant product. If you choose your daily diet correctly, you can do without the sugar we are used to. All the necessary exchanges in the body will be performed by sugar included in the composition of products. So, sugar will be released from products, combine with fats and dissolve it without any problems.

There are sugar substitutes that are not inferior to it in their composition. For example, fructose, in small quantities, is necessary for people with such a disease as diabetes. Frequent use leads to weight gain. Fructose, unlike sugar, is not deposited in fats, but is immediately processed, blocking the release of insulin in the blood.

Xylitol and sorbitol have a beneficial effect on the digestive system. It does not destroy tooth enamel, but the acidity of the stomach increases, which is contraindicated for people who have digestive problems. Chewing gum is filled with xylitol and sorbitol. They can be chewed with caution and not on an empty stomach. After fatty foods, it is recommended to chew gum, as absorption will be much faster.

It can also be said that sweets affect the mental work of the body. Scientists conducted an experiment on 20 volunteers, they were divided into two groups. The first group ate a small amount of sweets, the second ate ordinary food, without indulging in sweets. The task was to solve some psychological problems. The results were not the same. Those people who belonged to the first group solved the task much earlier and were lively throughout the experiment. The second group was distinguished by slowness, the result was below the level. Mental work of the brain, on the contrary, is associated with the flow of glucose into the human brain.

Those with a sweet tooth should remember that abuse has a detrimental effect on the human body, causing diseases not only of the oral cavity, but also of the digestive organs, heart and blood vessels.

Marmalade and marshmallows are much healthier than candies and cakes, as sugar interacts with fiber and reduces blood glucose levels. Sweet drinks and carbonated drinks are also harmful due to increased gas formation and glucose. Juices are softer in composition, but it is better to drink them fresh, not from a package or a can. Since they retain all the vitamins and nutrients in their natural form. Glucose in juices is absorbed much faster, which affects the pancreas, resulting in extra pounds and problems with the digestive tract.

It is better to eat fruits fresh, so all the flavors and, most importantly, the nutrients are preserved, and the body absorbs vitamins 100%.

Every sensible person cares not only about their appearance, but also about their health. How much and in what quantity to eat sweets, everyone decides for themselves. Probably, it is right to contact a nutritionist who will individually select products suitable for a person. Will take into account the risk factors of high blood sugar, will conduct all examinations.
