According to a recent study, it became known that the British are considered one of the most lazy peoples, not counting people living in Malta and in Serbia. Almost 2/3 of the adult population does not engage in sports and endanger their health. So, about 63 percent of the UK adults do not perform the simplest physical exercises, such as morning walking or jogging for 30 minutes a day or exercise at the gym 3 times a week.
Doing sports for less than the recommended limit can lead to an increased risk of diseases such as cardiovascular, diabetes and cancer, doctors warn. Laziness of the British is an indicator that meets twice as often as in other countries. However, the palm tree is still owned by Malta - 72 percent of the adult population has a sedentary lifestyle. The most sporty are people living in the United States (41 percent are inactive), France (33 percent) and Greece (16 percent).
It was noted that in most countries (with high incomes) physical activity increases with age, in women it manifests itself more than men. And it was noted that the lack of physical exertion on negative influence on the body is compared with that of smoking and obesity.
