During the festivities dedicated to the release of students of the Kharkiv National Medical Institute, Oleg Musii said that young professionals now have new opportunities. Congratulating the graduates with the graduation, the Minister of Health noted that the Kharkiv Medical Institute graduated 570 bachelors and masters from different faculties, of which 281 are foreign students. Almost 70% of graduates will become family doctors.

According to Oleg Musiy, Kharkiv is famous for its medical achievements and the National Medical Institute is rightfully considered one of the best higher educational institutions in Ukraine.

According to the minister, today's graduates face an uneasy task, since they are to build a new national healthcare system, which first of all should be aimed at the patient, his needs and requirements. Also, Oleg Musiy noted that new requirements arise for tomorrow's doctors, as modern medicine needs a denationalization and a new approach to health care organizations involving self-governing medical institutions, the public and the professional community.

In addition, the Minister of Health expressed the hope that it is the young specialists who will contribute to the fact that the profession of the doctor will become the most popular, humane and wise, which will replace modern ideas about the status of a medical worker.

Young professionals have the opportunity to build a modern and powerful healthcare system, with decent wages and social guarantees.

At the end of his speech, the minister supported the graduates of the Kharkov Medical University and wished them enough strength to accumulate professional knowledge in the future, as well as a good summer vacation before the beginning of hard work.

Teaching staff of the University, Oleg Musii wished to preserve the worthy educational process of the educational institution and worthily hold an introductory company.

Special thanks to the Minister of Health expressed to students - volunteers who are currently working in the hospitals of Slobozhanshchina, providing normal care for patients who have suffered in the East of Ukraine or are blood donors.

In addition, Oleg Musii on behalf of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine presented gratitude lists and certificates to the best teachers of Kharkov Medical University.

It is worth recalling that the Kharkov National Medical University for more than 200 years of work has trained over 65,000 professionals, of which about 5 thousand were citizens of foreign countries.

The first issue of the Kharkov Medical Institute was held in 1816, then the issues occurred in different formats: according to the accelerated program, twice a year, even there were years when, due to unforeseen circumstances, there were no graduates of the educational institution.

This year Kharkiv Medical Institute held its 199th issue. Currently, more than 7 thousand students, masters, interns, clinical residents, graduate students study at the educational institution, among which there are more than 3 thousand foreign citizens from 73 countries of the world.
