In Singapore, invented a unique beer, which includes a number of probiotic substances: a drink, according to its creators, is very useful for the body. The development of the new beer was conducted by medical students who study at the National University of Singapore. The creators expressed confidence that their debut will undoubtedly be appreciated by those who are not indifferent to beer, as well as to the conduct of a healthy lifestyle. Soon the product will already be patented, since the application has already been filed. Most likely, in a short time, useful beer will be launched into industrial production on an ongoing basis.
Probiotics are useful live bacteria that live in the normal intestinal microflora. It can be said that these are microorganisms that help regulate and balance the number of pathogenic bacteria, and prevent their negative impact on human health.
Probiotics are able to cope with intoxication and virus attack, as these substances neutralize toxins and viruses, while simultaneously regulating the body's defense system.
Co-founder of the project to create a useful beer, Elsini Chan notes that to date there is a huge number of various products on the shelves of shops, in which probiotics are present. Nevertheless, no one thought of introducing probiotics into such a popular and popular drink as beer. Thus, medical students from Singapore turned out to be "pioneers" in this sense.
Creating a new type of foam drink, students used the microorganisms of lactic acids, which are called lactobacilli paracasei L26: they were artificially removed from the cavity of the human intestine.
Experts have spent enough time to create a quality probiotic drink. After all, acid-forming substances, which are usually present in beer, block the development and reproduction of probiotics. Physicians had to make changes directly in the process of fermentation of the drink. According to experts, the new beer has a tart and a slightly sharp taste, a pleasant smell. The share of alcohol in the drink is 3.5%. On 100 ml there is almost a billion bacteria of probiotics: according to experts, this is the daily rate, completely coinciding with the recommended dosage from the International Probiotic Association.
It is worth noting that, when declaring the usefulness of a new drink, experts do not talk about the undeniable health benefits of absolutely all of its ingredients. In fact, the new beer contains many useful substances, probiotics and vitamins, but can this be reduced to "no" by the rest of the ingredients - in particular, alcohol? Is it possible to use such beer systematically, and will it not have negative consequences? Can such beer, with regular use, lead to the development of "beer alcoholism"? There are a lot of questions to the creators. Skeptics argue that the use of probiotic beer is imaginary. However, it is too early to draw any conclusions: we will expect conclusions of scientists on this matter.
