Berries rich in fiber have a soft cleansing effect on motor and secretory functions, and help remove harmful cholesterol.
Many have heard about the beneficial properties of another forest beauty - blueberries. Those who spend a lot of time at the computer, straining their eyesight, should definitely eat fresh or dried blueberries, which stimulate metabolic processes in the retina. Blueberries have an astringent effect, jam from them is an excellent remedy for colds.
In summer, raspberries ripen in the gardens – a berry that many remember from childhood. Jam made from it is also a traditional way to treat colds, since the berries have a diaphoretic and antipyretic effect. They are rich in salicylic acid, vitamins and minerals. The increased content of vitamin C has made raspberries a recommended remedy for scurvy along with lemon.
