In Kiev for this period, with 7 beaches and recreation areas located on the Dnieper River, 7 beaches do not have official permits for opening, but they work except for the Central, Molodezhny, and Suburban Slobodka in accordance with the temporary ban on bathing.

There are 7 river beaches: "Verbny" on the lake in the Obolonsky district, "Pusha Voditsa" on the 5-7 line at the rate of the river. Gorenka in the Obolonsky district, "Rainbow" on the lakes in the Dniprovsky district, "Chortyi" in the PK & O of the Friendship of the Peoples of the Desniansky district, "Venice", "Children's", "Golden" in the Dniprovsky district.
Also, 4 beaches were closed due to the lack of compliance with the water quality standards - the beaches "Central" and "Telbin", "Molodezhny" (from 25.07.2011, № 216), "Suburban Slobodka" in the Dniprovsky district, and recreation area "Troyeshchyna" in the Gulf of r. Desenka.
186 samples of river water were investigated. Deviation from the standard was found in 1 sample of river water at the LKP index up to 24 thousand (continuing research of water samples from the Tsentralny and Telbin, Venice and Molodyozhny beaches on Dolobetsky Island, Suburban Slobidka in the Dniprovsky District, recreation zone on the Desenka River). Bathing is prohibited, they are under the supervision of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Service.

As of July 25, two beaches have been closed due to the lack of compliance with the water quality standards - the beach "Central" (decree on the temporary ban on swimming from 25.06.2011 № 184) and "Telbin" (decree on the temporary ban of bathing from 29.06.2011 № 187) in the Dnieper region.
As previously reported, the chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration, Alexander Popov, commenting on the information that some E. Coli beaches found an E. Coli, noted that it is better that people limit their stay on these beaches, but "no one to take anyone out of this territory will not be".
