How to properly store berries in summer

Berries are perishable products, and in the summer season the growth and multiplication of bacteria actively progresses. In order not to get poisoned by eating fruits, you must follow certain rules. For example, if you can not eat the amount of berries that you have, you need to take care of the storage conditions.
Let's say you want to preserve raspberries or strawberries. In this case, put the berries in a bowl with one layer, top with a paper towel or a plain napkin and put in the refrigerator. You do not need to spread fruit in glassware, nor should it close the lid tightly, as you activate the reproduction of bacteria, which means that the berry can be discarded after such conditions. If you want to eat berries during the day, and the house is cool enough, you can leave them in a dark place, pre-covered with a napkin.
If you want to keep raspberries and strawberries for a longer period, resort to freezing. Before that, they do not need to be treated with water, otherwise they will turn into one big lump because of the released juice. Spread a paper towel on a tray or tray, top with a layer of berries. Put them for an hour and a half into the freezer. Once they have hardened, pour them into a plastic bag and place again in the camera.
Blueberries, bones, blueberries, currants can be placed in the refrigerator in deep containers, but do not cover them with a lid (just cover with a paper towel). If you want to freeze berries, first rinse them under running cold water. After the treatment, carefully dry the fruits, place them in a plastic bag and put them in the freezer.
