According to surveys, many women are very unhappy with their appearance. The list of the most annoying body parts for women includes the waist, hips and breasts. But research by experts shows that even if everything is in perfect order everywhere, this is no guarantee that you will not find another flaw in yourself. It turns out that family and the information that all family members put into your ears while you are growing up play an important role in your attitude to your own appearance, and this can subsequently result in dissatisfaction with your own appearance, which will poison your life.

Even if your dislike of your own body is a long-standing issue, do not despair, all this can be corrected in the shortest possible time.

  • Expand your concept of beauty

Remember that the concept of beautiful and ugly has changed over time and still does not stop. Once upon a time, juicy chubby girls were popular, then skinny ones, but this does not mean that people's tastes can be swept under one comb. Each time and person has their own concept of beauty.

  • Say no to your own criticism

Instead of lamenting your shortcomings and sarcastically commenting on them, try to treat them more positively or at least neutrally. Moreover, everything can be corrected with the help of properly selected clothes.

  • Take action

The results of the research of scientists show that women who focus not on the problems of appearance, but on the eradication of shortcomings, feel happier and satisfied with their appearance. Exercise is a powerful tool for changing your attitude to your own body. The effect is observed after six weeks.

  • Compare reality and fiction

Women often overestimate their flaws, especially when it comes to their waist and hips. Try this experiment: take a piece of string and measure out as much as you think is needed to go around your waist. Then wrap the string around your waist and note the difference between the real situation and your imagination. It would also be a good idea to get rid of clothes that are too small for you, so that they don’t tease you even more. Work with what you have and determine which advantages can be highlighted and what needs to be hidden.

  • Make friends with your reflection in the mirror

Especially if the summer vacation season is coming up. Stand in front of the mirror first fully dressed and take a good look at the parts of your body that you find beautiful. Then take off your clothes and praise everything you like about yourself, looking at your reflection. Over time, you will stop treating yourself with skepticism.
