GfK Ukraine conducted a survey among the population of Ukraine. The topic was the formation of special apprentices for the period of vacation, purchase of medicines and the principles of their choice.
Less than a third of respondents (26%) visit pharmacies on the eve of vacations, while 66% do not consider it necessary to create a special first aid kit, which they take on a trip.
Regarding the list of medications that fall into the first-aid kits of Ukrainian tourists, unconditional leaders are the drugs for anesthesia (77% of those who form the first-aid kit for the leave) and "from intestinal disorder" medications (68%). Slightly less than half of respondents take with them funds for skin disinfection (42%), for improvement of digestion (42%), as well as means for sunburn (40%).
A special first-aid kit for vacationing Ukrainians is usually completed with proven drugs: 76% of those who take a first aid kit as a primary criterion for buying medicines have been called "previous positive experience of using a medical product." One third of respondents consult a doctor, another third consult a pharmacist. The price factor occupies only the fifth step: only 11% of respondents who form a special first-aid kit said that the cost of drugs is an important criterion for them to make a decision about their purchase.
