Drinking one glass of natural pomegranate juice every day can increase sexual libido, according to a study conducted by the Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh.

58 girls and boys aged 20 to 64 drank a glass of pomegranate juice every day for two weeks and experienced a surge in testosterone, which increases sexual desire in both women and men, meaning pomegranate juice turned out to be an aphrodisiac product.

According to scientists, the level of the hormone testosterone increased from 16 to 30% in those who took part in the study.

Drinking natural pomegranate juice has other positive "side effects" - improved mood and memory, and even increased resistance to stress.

Pomegranate juice is fashionable all over the world. It is easy to prepare at home, even without using a juicer. It is enough to mash the fruit in the peel, and after the seeds burst, cut off part of the peel and squeeze out the juice. Our supermarkets sell pomegranates from Transcaucasia and Asia, although the pomegranate tree is also found in Crimea and the subtropical regions of the Black Sea coast.

The color of this drink varies (depending on the type of fruit) from purple to dark red. The taste of pomegranate juice is a little tart and sour, but at the same time delicate and refreshing.
