Balkan nutritionists have proposed an uneasy, but highly effective green diet.
July and August are the perfect time to try a completely new concept of nutrition, based on eating a very large amount of spicy greens. At the heart of the diet are light protein foods (chicken, turkey, fish, shrimp), cottage cheese 5% fat, oatmeal, natural black coffee and most importantly - herbs: dill, fennel, spinach, lettuce, basil, arugula, coriander, green onions and some other kinds of greens. Completely banned any bread, in addition, you will have to sharply limit the amount of salt, and the total volume of butter (vegetable and cream) should not exceed 1 tablespoon per day.
The green diet is designed for 3 weeks, the number of meals - 6 times a day. Average caloric value does not matter, it's important to observe three principles:
- The first and last meal is necessarily with the participation of a protein product.
- The obligatory dish for lunch is oatmeal on the water.
- An abundant green garnish is served to any dish.
Now, in fact, about the greenery. Daily rate - up to 1 kilogram of herbs and spicy roots. Greens in large quantities should be added to cottage cheese, with it you can boil soup (for example, on broth from chicken fillet), and, of course, prepare salads. Important: everywhere, where possible, leave the stems and eat them, thoroughly chewing. In the opinion of nutritionists, it is the rough parts of green cultures that help to really clean all parts of the intestine and normalize fat and carbohydrate metabolism.
Of course, like many diets, this green diet has its own contraindications. This pregnancy, lactation, insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, chronic gastritis and peptic ulcer, pancreatitis and cholecystitis. With caution, it should be used and people suffering from irritable bowel syndrome.
